In this very recent photo of the center wing section , you can clearly see the air intakes for the left engines, as well as the mounting point for the number 2 engine. Craig Fuller is standing directly forward of the bomb bay. The right side bomb bay door can be seen in the open position. The aircraft disintegrated in flight, and is scattered over a wide area in the high Sierra. |

This photo of the tail section clearly shows the stabilizer, and a nearly perfect Army Air Force Star. It's rare to find such a complete star on aircraft wreckage. I hope this one will remain in place for many years to come. |
